Damir's Transport was started because we seen an unmet need in our community. Damir was born at 25 weeks, mom had to stop working (which limited their income) to care for his very complex medical needs. During his appointments to doctors across the state, we spoke with people who were also financially disadvantaged and needed free transportation to these appointments.

This service is typically covered by Alabama Medicaid Net Program for qualifying individuals. We also work with other nonprofit organizations helping clients with transportation needs.
